英语晨读诗歌欣赏：旅途　　One day you finally knew
/ g6 Q& _9 V9 @7 F8 b2 \　　what you had to do, and began,
　　though the voices around you
　　kept shouting
　　their bad advice--

　　began to tremble
　　and you felt the old tug

　　“Mend my life!”
) o+ B5 O) c" _# I　　each voice cried.
1 z: A0 K# e' P% l6 n1 y  L$ V2 R- G　　But you didn’t stop.
　　You knew what you had to do,
　　虽然整个房子，
, D/ N5 @$ Q' ~# T/ m7 p　　开始颤抖，
　　你亦感到那条旧绳索，
& N: C7 L2 v+ @" q# X' [, H　　绊住了你的脚踝。
* P. l' D6 v( u' f  }　　“修补我的人生!”
$ W: p8 ]5 p8 x* g/ c　　每个声音都在哭喊。
　　但你并没停止。
# [0 _5 f  ?- O5 [7 {　　你知道什么是你必须得做的，

　　though the wind pried
　　with its stiff fingers
　　at the very foundation
# ?/ J$ Y$ }' x: ?　　though their melancholy
9 X- |/ O. }; a4 _$ y　　was terrible.
　　It was already late
　　enough, and a wild night,
　　and the road full of fallen
0 E3 K$ t+ t( X, U　　branches and stones.
8 r8 D3 Q) P- Q  C* M( n　　虽然风用它僵硬的手指，
　　直往根基，
　　撬捣，
& U2 _- l) p6 q& x3 V5 R) }: A　　虽然它们的忧郁，
　　着实可怕。
　　天色，
3 v3 }* f, |' [5 x  W! e3 [　　已经很晚，这是个疯狂的夜晚，
　　路上满是倒下的，
1 I7 F6 U6 [  c# j　　断枝和石头。
" w5 \/ [2 v7 c5 Q　　But little by little,
　　as you left their voices behind,
6 h  H1 ^8 N( T* o( r6 e! l, a+ k　　the stars began to burn
　　through the sheets of clouds
# c/ V, _& Y) @- _; n6 X　　and there was a new voice
　　which you slowly
　　recognized as your own,
　　that kept you company
　　as you strode deeper and deeper
3 u' }9 j$ s; [9 U" m3 e2 u) f, z3 y　　into the world,
　　determined to do
　　the only thing you could do--
　　determined to save
　　the only life you could save.
